My babies are home and I'm on constant watch. After all their not on machines watching their oxygen, heart rate and blood pressure anymore. I thought of bringing the equipment home but for some reason they said it wasn't included in the insurance; whatever!
My baby son Baby A is a very noisy sleeper grunting and moaning and my daughter Baby B is the light sleeper. I knew from the beginning that my son thought he was born the only child because he had the nurses coming to him all the time.
I had to separate the twins and put them in their own bedrooms because my son was waking up his sister. For the life of me I couldn't get them on the same schedule. They were on two different formulas and sometimes in the middle of the night I admit I would accidentally mix them up. Thank goodness my older soon slept through the night.
We got a note from the garbage man saying our trash cans weighed to much so Martin leaves a note on the can that said, we have three kids in diapers. They never complained again.
Sleep is a luxury for us at this point. I did most of the feedings at night so Martin could go to work but he did do the 6am feeding before he left so I could sleep before the 9am feeding. Mind you my older son never held a bottle in his life. Well the twins learned at a very early age. I would bring them down in the morning in their car seats set them on the table and put my older son in his high chair. I propped the babies bottles and spoon feed the other. Then it was time to burp the babies one at a time and then change all three diapers.
You think you know what tired is?? You don't have a clue until you basically have triplets in your house!
Starting a new journey after infertility issues, a very bitter divorce and custody battle. I want to share my past and present experiences to help myself heal and hopefully help others.
