I return to the doctors and have another ultra sound. The radiologist says there is basically not any amniotic fluid left. So we go down and see the doctor and she says okay were inducing you today; it's about 4pm.
I get checked in the hospital and am told I can't get out of bed at all. My amniotic bag is ruptured and I'm put on pitocin. We are watching our babies heart rate closely. We both are nervous at this point praying for a healthy baby boy. By 8pm I am asking for an epidural but my very young nurse who has never had a child before says it will slow down my labor; I'm thinking some thoughts that we will just say aren't very christian.
