We will call my children J for my oldest son, E for my twin son and C for my daughter. My deceased son's name also starts with C so we will call him our angel.
J is very intrigued with all things. I bought plenty of books and flash cards and we had a ten minute routine everyday to go through letters and numbers. I started showing him colors when he was about a year old. I would show him the color and say "Red" and go to the next one. He was fascinated with learning.
E is my little show off. When he discovered he could roll he had this look on his face that you could just could tell he was so proud of himself. He rolled all over the house. E would sometimes get over stimulated and he would cry; I knew the cry and I would take him to his bedroom and lay him in his crib and close the door and he would like the quite. E learned new things very quickly and when he couldn't do something he would get frustrated. He wanted to do it now!
C is my little princess. She took her time doing everything. I think she was just content with all of us dotting on her and was quite pleased; being the only girl I guess we handed her everything. When she finally felt like sitting I would sit her on a blanket and put a toy at the other end. I wanted her to crawl but she would take the blanket and pull it toward her and bring the toy to her. It was so cute and she was going to do things on her own time not ours.
Starting a new journey after infertility issues, a very bitter divorce and custody battle. I want to share my past and present experiences to help myself heal and hopefully help others.
